GOVBIDLENS
Terms of Service
These terms govern access to GovBidLens and its contract-opportunity alerts.
Effective September 5, 2026
Using GovBidLens
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding account access, and all activity under your account. You may use GovBidLens only for lawful business purposes.
Nature of the service
GovBidLens organizes and ranks public procurement information to help users identify opportunities. It is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. government or SAM.gov. GovBidLens does not submit bids, guarantee eligibility, guarantee an award, or provide legal, accounting, procurement, or financial advice.
You are responsible for reviewing the official notice and amendments, confirming deadlines and requirements, determining eligibility, and obtaining professional advice when needed. If information on GovBidLens conflicts with an official source, the official source controls.
Subscriptions and trials
Paid plans renew automatically at the price and billing interval shown during checkout until canceled. A trial converts to a paid subscription on the date disclosed at checkout unless canceled beforehand. Stripe processes payments. You authorize recurring charges when you complete checkout.
You can cancel online through Manage billing in GovBidLens. Cancellation stops future renewals and access ordinarily continues through the paid period. Our Cancellation and Refund Policy is incorporated into these terms.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, interfere with security, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or resell the service at scale, upload malicious material, infringe others’ rights, or use GovBidLens to violate procurement rules or applicable law.
Availability and third parties
Public data and third-party services may be delayed, incomplete, changed, rate-limited, or unavailable. We may modify or suspend features when reasonably necessary. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
Ownership
GovBidLens and its original software, design, scoring presentation, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Public procurement records remain subject to the rights and rules of their source.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, GovBidLens will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for missed opportunities, bid costs, or procurement decisions. Our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid GovBidLens during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by North Carolina law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these terms prospectively by posting a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated when reasonably required.
